Heat-shrink molded shapes are used in a similar way to heat-shrink tubing, but these already have a certain shape they will shrink to. For example, some shapes are specifically designed for a 90 degree angle or for a two-way outlet. It is important to choose the right shape/ series for your needs. If you know which shape you need, it is important to choose the correct material and if needed, to choose the correct adhesive layer. The most commonly chosen materials are either polyolefin (B7) or Elastomer (G) and the most commonly chosen adhesive layers are the WM250 and the W24.
