What is a MIL-DTL-5015 Connector?

A United States Military Standard heavy-duty circular connector with either soldered or crimped contacts. They were originally designed for use in military aircraft. Since then, commercial and industrial demand has grown, because of their uniform quality. They are often used for power distribution, digital and analogue signals and are known for their reliability. Connectors that follow the MIL-C-83723 Series III are used in commercial and military applications. The Serie III, offers environmentally sealed connectors with threaded (DBA30) and bayonet coupling (DL). They are easy to use and can withstand harsh environments.
